Lane End Conference Centre Sales and Marketing Manager Heni Fourie has been selected as a finalist in the Meetings Industry Association’s prestigious MIA-List awards.
The MIA-List awards have attracted entries from a wide range of hotels, conference centres and other key venues represented by the association.
Heni is one of 20 finalists named in this year’s awards. Winners will be announced at a black tie event on March 19 in London.
The Meetings Industry Association first launched the awards last year to celebrate its 21st anniversary. They recognise the work of inspiring individuals.
MIA Chief Executive Jane Longhurst said: “The MIA-List is an opportunity to recognise those people within the meetings and events industry whose approach to their profession is outstanding, giving the industry a new group of heroes to look up to.”
The awards were designed to celebrate the people “that make our industry amongst the best in the world, using them as an example of ordinary people achieving extraordinary standards,” she added.
Buckinghamshire-based Lane End Conference Centre joined the MIA earlier this year. The association is the UK and Ireland’s leading organisation for conference venues.
Lane End Conference Centre is a top UK venue with specialist facilities that include 34 conference meeting rooms in five self-contained buildings on a 26-acre site in the beautiful Chilterns hills.
