Safe and sound: health and safety at your conference
Back in 2011, Lane End Conference Centre developed the first major experiential learning centre for the London area – and it’s still proving popular with clients.
The facility, which hosts more than twenty physical, mental and team building challenges is designed to enhance workplace performance.
Improving team performance has never been more important to businesses and Lane End has been able to position itself as one of the UK’s leading training venues.
Businesses who have taken advantage of the facilities in the past include the Royal Veterinary College and, more recently, training specialists, ProfitAbility Learning & Development Services Ltd. ProfitAbility’s event was held back in October and offered an experiential event to remember for one of their major corporate clients.
“Lane End’s experiential facility is an excellent, self-contained facility which enabled us to achieve a successful event for our client,” said Chris Howgego, General Manager at ProfitAbility. “We strongly believe that delegates ‘learn by doing’ which is why experiential events continue to be popular in business. Using Lane End’s superb facilities we were able to train our corporate client in teamwork, communications and problem solving – it was a big success.”
With more than 40 different team building ideas and activities already available at Lane End, the new experiential learning centre significantly added to the facilities -¬ creating an even more extensive choice of options. This positioned Lane End as a high quality training venue within easy access of London and the popularity of its facilities has not ceased.
“Lane End was the perfect location for our event,” continued Chris. “Not just because of its close proximity to London but the fact that it is purely geared up for this sort of training. It is better than any hotel because Lane End’s focus was always on value for money as a conference centre with responsive and prompt service throughout.
“Modern classrooms, accommodation as well as space both in and outside ensured our event was a real success.”
