Lifting our spirits above the damp and drizzle this week was the news that Lane End has retained its VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation.
Furthermore, we are the only meeting venue in Buckinghamshire to hold the coveted Gold Standard status.
Lane End Conference Centre was recognised for its impeccable customer service once again in quarter four 2013 – the eighth successive quarter we have been awarded the accreditation.
The accreditation scheme - run by independent marketing company BDRC Continental – is based entirely on feedback from business event organisers and hosts who have visited the venue.
Based on feedback provided, each location is awarded a Net Promoter Score.
To receive Gold Standard Accreditation, a venue must achieve a Net Promoter Score of +70 or higher from 40 or more visitors in the last 12 months.
Factors which determine the Net Promoter Score include, how likely a customer would be to recommend the venue, overall satisfaction and value for money.
Lane End Sales and Marketing Manager, Heni Fourie, said: “As a recognised hallmark of excellence in the meetings and hospitality industry, we are thrilled to hold on to our Gold Standard status.
“Around 360 venues participate in the scheme nationwide and Lane End was one of only 31 to gain the Gold Standard.
“Furthermore, we were the only meeting venue in Buckinghamshire to be awarded the highest level of accreditation.”
Heni added: “As the accreditation is derived entirely from customer feedback it is testament to our ongoing commitment to deliver the highest standard of service for guests.”
