Tired of passé prawn cocktail and boring beef bourguignon?
Lane End Conference Centre is re-writing the menu (literally!) when it comes to UK conference centre cuisine.
As part of our commitment to providing exceptionally fresh, high quality catering our Executive Head Chef has launched an exquisite new Gala Dinner menu – perfect for Gala Events or rounding off a successful Annual Conference.
New Gala Dinner Menu - Melon StarterExecutive Head Chef, Mike Day, said: “As with all the menus we create at Lane End Conference Centre, our Gala Dinner menu is made up of delicious dishes using the finest, locally-sourced ingredients.
“For this menu we have focussed on traditional favourites that everyone loves but with an individual twist.
“For example, our St Clements melon starter is accompanied by a decadent champagne jelly and our herb scented lamb is dressed with sautéed black pudding.”
What other delights can be found on this feast of fabulous food?
As well as several delicious starters, there is a choice of sumptuous main courses.
These include char-grilled rib-eye steak with truffle scented mash, roasted pork loin finished with a brandy sauce and a choice of tasty vegetarian dishes.
For dessert you can choose one of ten tempting treats, including caramelised lemon tart with homemade gin and tonic sorbet and our legendary sticky toffee pudding.
